Scope of work

Furnish all labor, equipment and materials for the deep foundation and substructure concrete package on the Phase II south approach.

  • Thirty-two 6-foot diameter drilled shafts to depths of 95 feet
  • Twelve cast-in-place pile caps with mass concrete thermal control plans
  • Seismic pier encasements and shear key retrofits on piers 14 through 19
  • In-water work windows coordinated with the regional fisheries permit

Submission requirements

  • State DOT prequalification for bridge and drilled shaft work
  • Marine construction experience on at least two comparable structures in the last ten years
  • 100% performance and payment bonds
  • Pollution liability coverage of $5M
